Psi Bands is featured in the summer issue of Cruise Passenger, the primary cruising publication of Australia. (Psi Bands are sold in Australia, and throughout the world. Now your international friends can also breathe a “psi” of relief.)

Nausea ad nauseum

Fifty years ago this month, in August 1961, Russian cosmonaut Gherman Titov became the second human to orbit the Earth. But he became the first human to suffer from space motion sickness, which afflicts roughly two-thirds of all astronauts.

From the get go, one of our biggest goals has been to educate folks suffering with nausea that there are drug-free options such as Psi Bands. Well, what better vehicle to get to “the people” than People magazine itself?! That’s right, Psi Bands is featured as a ”Pint-Size Pick” in the August 29 issue of People magazine (out on newsstands 8/19). This special issue of People has an extra section all about celebrity “cutest kids” and is expected to be seen by some 45 milion readers. The piece touts the positive aspects of Psi Bands as a Drug-Free, Adjustable, Comfortable, Fashionable, Waterproof and Affordable option for the relief of nausea.

MOMPRENEUR OF THE MONTH:

Nicole Abbott of Chic & Cheap Nursery

ChicThis month’s mompreneur has a blog we have been admiring for months. If you are planning a baby nursery or making updates to a bigger kids room, you absolutely must subscribe to Nicole Abbott’s blog at Chic & Cheap Nursery.  Nicole’s mission is to empower moms (expectant, new and veterans) to create unique and affordable spaces for their children that reflect their style, by inspiring them with beautiful finds and creative design ideas. While planning for the arrival of her daughter in 2008, Nicole (an interior designer by heart and architect by trade) became frustrated when she realized that her dream nursery would remain a dream because everything seemed to be soooo expensive. But a resourceful Nicole did not give up hope. And she set out to create a dream nursery on a small budget and discovered a wonderful world of DIYs, independent shops and incredibly creative ideas from real moms! In our opinion, her ideas are so clever, you can find ideas for every room in your house!
